Designed in close collaboration with Swedish guitarist and producer Ola Englund of The Haunted, Feared, Six Feet Under, and more, Washburn is proud to introduce Ola Englund’s signature line of high performance, metal-ready axes with the PX-Solar Series. As a discerning metal player himself, Ola knows exactly what metal players demand in an axe.

Crafted from alder, the PX-SOLAR160C sports the distinctive, sleek Solar double cutaway body dressed in a black matte finish, and features a full access neck joint for uninhibited shredding and soloing up in the lead zone. The speedy 25.5″-scale maple neck carries an ebony fingerboard with 24 frets, a unique Ola Englund inlay at the 12th fret and a graphite nut.

Ready to dish out all the killer tone that’s sure to please any metal player, the PX-SOLAR160C comes fitted with a pair of Duncan Designed humbuckers that come wired through a single volume control, a single tone control and a 5-way selector switch for quick and easy tone shaping.

The Washburn PX-SOLAR160C comes equipped with high-performance chrome hardware, which includes a fixed bridge and a set of exclusive Grover tuning machines with an 18:1 tuning ratio.
