The Soloist Archtop SLAT7 FF is an 7string fanned-fret model that is built with two scale lengths (25.5/27) on one fingerboard. The fanned fret design with the longer scale low-end makes the SLAT8 FF the ideal guitar for low-tuned shredding. A pair of modern EMG 808 humbucking pickupsare voiced to deliver up to the minute cutting edge metal tones.

Other premium features include a double cutaway basswood body, one-piece maple neck and scarf joint with graphite reinforcement, single-ply neck binding, a 12-16 compound radius rosewood fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets, Jackson designed individual staggered bridge saddles, 3-position toggle, all-black hardware, and Jackson AT1 (four on top, three on bottom) headstock with Jackson die-cast tuners.
