The Ibanez AEW14LTD4 pairs a Solid Sitka Spruce soundboard with tonally and visually appealing exotic Acacia for the back and sides. The body is also thinner, which makes the AEW14LTD4 more amplification-friendly and less prone to the feedback typically associated with acoustic instruments–the perfect choice for gigging singer-songwriters. To cater to the elegant aesthetics of the AEW14LTD4, the top is adorned with a multi wood top purfling and remarkable wooden marquetry with Acacia & Rosewood rosette. A “soft” Florentine cutaway facilitates easy accessibility all the way to the 17th fret. The neck is carved from mahogany and features a 20 fret rosewood fingerboard with maple dot position inlays.

When you’re ready to take it to the stage, the Ibanez AEW14LTD4 is performance ready with a Fishman Sonicore pickup, along with an Ibanez AEQ-SP2 active preamp that faithfully captures the guitar’s natural voice. To shape your tone to perfection, the preamp features a bass, treble and volume control. To assure that you’re always in tune, the AEQ-SP2 preamp also comes loaded with a built-in, easy to read tuner.
