AKG C1000S Multi-Purpose Small Diaphragm Condenser Mic
The C1000S from AKG is a multi-purpose small-diaphragm condenser microphone suitable for studio, stage, ENG/EFP and video production. It features a gold-sputtered capsule, a bass-cut switch and a switchable 10 dB preattenuation pad. The microphone’s polar pattern can be switched between cardioid and hypercardioid. Additionally, the C1000S includes a presence boost adapter, offering three frequency response settings for different sound sources. If no phantom power is available, the C1000S can be powered by two standard AA batteries for up to 120 hours. Rugged construction gives the C1000S high immunity against humidity.
