7″ x 10″ Horn Tweeter with 1″ Titanium Compression Driver

This horn and driver combination was developed for use in a famous manufacturer’s THX Ultra2 dual 6-1/2″ 2-way loudspeaker system. The reinforced plastic horn’s advanced Tractrix geometry ensures controlled dispersion combined with an absolute minimum of distortion.

High efficiency and smooth response required for THX Ultra2 certification is provided by the pre-mounted 4-ohm titanium diaphragm compression driver, which features a 9.6 oz. ceramic magnet incorporated into an optimized motor structure. The fluid-cooled magnet system is shielded to prevent harmful interaction with sensitive equipment. Vertical orientation of the horn’s long axis is recommended for optimum horizontal dispersion.
