Pearl Hi-Hat Clutches provide secure, non-slip coverage for cymbal play at all drumming levels. From the most basic to our patented (US.Pat. 9355625) Rapid Lock Quick Release models, each Pearl Hi-Hat Clutch comes standard with a locking bottom nut, task-specific felts, and adjustable top nut for cymbal grip/slosh control.

With its Patented (US.Pat. 9355625) quick pinch-and-release function, the Pearl Rapid Lock hi-hat drop clutch is the fast set-up/tear-down solution every gigging drummer has been waiting for. Easily pinch both sides of the bottom locking nut to release and place the top hi-hat cymbals and adjust the cymbal feel with the locking top adjustment nut. Drop clutch function quickly releases the top cymbal for closed hat play in double-bass drumming, and reattaches with a quick kick of the hi-hat pedal.
